Funnel Builder
Understanding Zellify's Funnel Builder

What is a Funnel?
A web funnel is a type of onboarding experience that users go through immediately after clicking on an ad. This funnel typically consists of questions and highlights key features of the app. The main goal is to showcase the app's benefits and genuinely convince the user that they need it.
Funnels can vary significantly depending on the audience, strategy, and other factors. However, the core objective remains the same: convert the user before they download the app. By doing this, the app avoids paying fees to Apple or Google.
The core objective is to convert users before they download the app, helping you avoid platform fees from Apple or Google.
Creating Your First Funnel
Access the Funnel Builder
Head over to the Funnel Builder tab in your dashboard. You'll see a table listing all your created funnels.
If you haven't created any funnels yet, the table will be empty. Once you create one, you'll be able to click on it to view detailed data.
Create a New Funnel:
Click the Create Web Funnel button in the top-right corner
Enter a name for your funnel
You'll be taken directly to the funnel builder interface
Add your First Page
To create a new page:
Click the Create New Page button at the top right of the Funnel Builder.
A window will appear with different page types and templates.
Choose a ready-made template if you want to get started quickly.
Name your page and click Create.
Once your page is created, it will appear in the Phone Preview in the middle of the builder. This preview is a 1:1 replica of what your users will see.
You can:
Scroll inside the phone preview to view all content
Drag components up or down to change their order
Editing Components
To edit a component:
Click on it inside the Phone Preview
The Edit Properties panel will appear on the right side
Here you can configure all settings related to that component
You don't set colors here. Colors are managed under the Colors tab (explained below), making it easy to stay on-brand across your entire funnel.
To add a component, use the list on the left side of the builder:
Drag a component directly onto the Phone Preview to add it
Some components (e.g., Authentication and Payment) can only be added via specific page types, not from the component list. This is because they must only exist once per funnel, and must follow specific logic.
Always include an Authentication page before the Payment page. We need to collect the user's email before initiating payment—this is required for the funnel to work correctly.
